Do I have to be located in Southern California for representation?
No, our law firm serves all areas of California.
My case has already started, is it too late for legal representation with Auto Defense Group?
No, we can start even after you've submitted Notice of Defense either yourself or without another attoeny. Your current lawyer may not have the experience with conducting trials or obtaining settlement against the Bureau of Automotive Repair. Or if you feel like your lawyer is not going enough to help your case, you can either supplement or replace your legal representation.
How long does the entire process with the Bureau of Automotive Repair case usually take?
The complexity of each case is unique and different based on a number of different factors, such as type of charges, number of witnesses, number of undercover operations (if any), amount of video surveillance (if any), length of investigative reports and evidence. Nevertheless, that being said, generally the B.A.R. will attempt to rush the process to schedule the trial within 3 to 6 months from the start of the case which is mailing of the Accusation. However, we make sure to obtain sufficient time to prepare and strategize our case against the BAR. Accordingly, the process will usually over a year, likely more, so that you are not rushed and you can continue operating your automotive business.
Are you open after business hours? Can you accommodate my busy schedule on nights and/or weekends?
Yes, we understand that automotive repair businesses and technicians are usually working on their customers' cars from the early morning hours until well past dark - thus availability for a consultation during regular business hours is difficult. That is why we gladly accommodate flexible scheduling including late appointments and weekends. Your success is our success.
